		<description>Great tips, but I disagree with only checking email a few times a day. The number of times you check your email doesn't affect how much email you have or how long it takes to process. You need to be ruthless in creating filters and processes, and using keyboard shortcuts and saved text snippets to speed through your inbox.

The frequency you check your mail needs to take into account how important it is for your job. If I checked my email twice a day I'd miss a lot of important and time-sensitive messages. If I cranked widgets for a living, I could not check my email all day and be OK.

I cancelled my TV service outright. Best thing I ever did. Now I watch a couple movies a week to relax, but usually while still working on something.</description>
