Springing back to life

July 19th, 2009

Wow. It’s been close to a year since my last post on this blog. During that time, a lot has happened. I relocated from Markham to Toronto (the area formerly known as North York to be exact), published a technical book for Wrox, began working on a startup in my spare time, and more recently changed my lifestyle to address my weight issue.

All in all, it has been an exciting year, even if I ended up neglecting this blog. In truth, this point has been bugging me for a while now. I didn’t want to give up on BLS. It’s a learning exercise for me, it allows me to share my findings with a wide range of people from all walks of life, as well as learning from them in turn. My readers would be fully justified to consider this blog dead, but it’s all but dead. I intend to revamp it in fact, and start to take a more professional approach to the whole thing, with regular, interesting articles posted for you to read.

Interestingly enough, in the past few days, my discomfort regarding BLS’ lack of updates started to increase. So much so that today I decided to start working on it again and headed over to renew its domain name. Much to my surprise, I found out that the site was expiring today! Exactly one year ago, I had registered belifesavvy.com, and somehow, I ended up renewing it on its expiration day.

I don’t recall receiving any renewal emails recently either. I wonder if the exact date was there nestled away in the back of my mind, similarly to how our internal clock is able to wake us up at an exact time in the morning when an important appointment looms and you simply must wake up in time for it.

At any rate, expect new useful content very soon. Be life savvy is back!
